DHgate understands that it's never a pleasant experience to have a problem with a transaction. Often, the easiest way to resolve a problem is by communicating with your seller. If you have a problem, you can use DHgate's Dispute page in My DHgate to help track, manage, and resolve your dispute as quickly as possible. Opening a dispute guarantees that your money is being held in the Escrow Buyer Protection system and not released to the seller.
Typically there are the following steps:
Step 1. Open a dispute.
Step 2. Communicate with the seller to reach an agreement or close a dispute.
Step 3. Submit a dispute to DHgate Resolution Center.
Step 1. Open a dispute
Follow these steps to open a dispute:
1) Sign in your account and go to "My DHgate".
2) Select the "Shipped" option on Active Orders (Escrow) page; you will see a list of items that have been shipped.
3) Click on the 'Open Dispute' tab for the relevant PO# in the Action field.
(*Notice: The "Open Dispute" button will appear on the 4th day after the seller has offered the delivery tracking number on your order.) See below:
