DHgate Buyer protection is especially designed for online transaction. Your payment is ONLY released to seller after you receive and satisfy with the item. This value-added system is FREE and available for all transactions on DHgate.
Why do I need Buyer Protection?
DHgate Buyer Protection makes online purchase as safe as buying from your local stores.
How buyers are protected:
The buyer sends payment to DHgate.com rather than directly to the seller.
DHgate informs the seller to dispatch the item.
The buyer tracks the delivery of the item by using "My DHgate".
Once the buyer confirms receipt of the item and press "Complete order" in "My DHgate", DHgate.com will send payment to the seller to complete the transaction.
Can I see my package being dispatched, shipped & delivered?
All items use online tracking so you can know when to expect delivery. Yes, all items dispatched to you are covered by shipping methods such as EMS, UPS, FedEx, DHL and HongKong Post, etc, which can be tracked online to make sure you can see exactly where your items are and how long to expect before delivery.
Are payments on DHgate secure?
All payment methods are secure and covered by DHgate buyer protection. Absolutely, your online payment information will never be exposed.

Open a dispute, and work out a solution with the supplier. If you are not satisfied with your order (e.g. the item does not arrive or is not as described), you can open a dispute. At the same time, try to communicate with the supplier to reach an agreement. Most trade disputes happen because of misunderstandings.
Still need help? Just let us know. We are available 7 days a week. If you cannot reach an agreement with your supplier within 15 business days, you can choose to submit the dispute to DHgate for final decision. DHgate Resolution Center will immediately work together with you and the supplier towards a satisfactory outcome. If the problem cannot be resolved between you and the supplier based on available evidence, and your claim qualifies for Buyer Protection, DHgate Resolution Center will issue a refund on the item.
What if a seller offers to sell me something directly, bypassing DHgate?
If you receive offers from the sellers to complete transactions directly without going through DHgate.com, we urge you do not respond and do report it to us as soon as possible. Should you accept the seller’s offer, you will not be under DHgate Buyer Protection System. If the items you receive are not what you expected, or if they fail to arrive, DHgate cannot help you get an exchange or refund. With our Buyer Protection, the payment is not released until we're sure that you are satisfied with your purchase.
